homework, leo, pbsm.... URGH... AARGH

well, it's already one week after school reopened. hope every1 had a great fresh start to the new year. as for me, i've already got 2 essays on my head, both pbsm and leo club to take care of plus a couple of other tuition classes to jugle. i can do all of these every single day last year, but this year now that i'm in form 5, things seem to change.
i always feel quite tired and exausted, not that i don't have enough sleep, but it's just a peculiar feeling that drags along. not to mention the mounting pressure of getting a decent if not excellent spm result. oh well, on a brighter note, i have one of my top fav teachers Pn. Chong Yoke Shu teaching me add maths so that's bound to count for something. half of my friends (ream bear family) moved to 5S2 so i'm left with gloria, yee kha, si yun and win ni. but thing's haven't got dull as ronald sits between me and win ni so we're a pot of fun all mixed up together.
even though not all of my class mates originate from 4S3 2008, we all have one common enemy, (NO, NOT SPM!), Saraswati Singam!!! Her name makes you think of swatted flies, her voice is worst than fingernails screeching on a blackboard and her stare would make babies cry from here all the way to USA!! (no pun intended). PS: see seperate blog for more info, haha.
well, despite all things good bad and singam (blek), it's a new year, which means new ideas, new aspirations and new fresh dreams. i think i speak for every1 when i say many of us are REALLY trying harder to score good results for SPM. there's this sort of energy in all of us form 5 students so i really hope with a little luck on our side, lots of study and hard work, we can make it through as they say: in fLyInG CoLoUrS !!!

Saraswati Singam

First of all, if ur wondering who the hell is she... well let's just say that she's some1 so nasty and demon-like that even hell spat her out!
Ok, she's my new English teacher and she's a good teacher in a sense she can teach English. the only problem is that her attitude is worst than a 5 year old brat. the first thing she did when she came into my class is to start ranting on all her no-nos (rules) like an old geese. no wonder that hag ain't married till now! Her idea was that since we're in school uniform and she's not, this means she's smarter than us and we all have to listen to her. erm... NEWSFLASH: we're in school uniforms because we have to and they don't reflect on our intelligence! besides that, i'm pretty sure that some of the people in my class are smarter than generally most of the general average teachers.
you know what? it's all fine and dandy that you wanna make an effort to produce a good class and i'm all the way for it, but please stop acting like a dictator? what are you, a reincarnation of hitler? come on, it's not like my class has a psycological disfunction that requires you to be so mean to get the point through. We all can understand you just fine so for the sake of all our mental health, please drop the attitude.

Forming St. John Ambulans Malaysia

Hey guys... It's been way long since I've posted a blog. well anywayz, here's the latest scoop...

Just came back from prostar camp. Now fasilitator negeri certified :) so i can speak during HIV/AIDS awareness sessions.

But more importantly I want you all to know is that i'm trying to form a St. John Ambulans Malaysia (SJAM) division in our school, SMK Seksyen4 BK. I've got word that SJAM is actively trying to find schools in Puchong to form divisions as until now, there is NO SJAM division in Puchong except for SMK Puchong Jaya (B), which will take place next year.

If any of you are interested (which I hope u all are), please email, SMS, or Messenger me ASAP. There are many benefits to joining the SJAM. The main activity will be ambulance duty and public duty (standby at events). You would

· Get chances to work at major events, such as concerts, sporting events and even prestigious competitions as well.

· Get to attend first aid courses and get certificates that are recognized worldwide.

· Most students who joined SJAM would end up interested in medical careers. Joining SJAM would give you on the field experience to make it easier to step into the world of doctors, nurses and paramedics as well.

Many of you are familiar with our school's existing Malaysian Red Crescent Society, and I can frankly tell you the SJAM can offer many more things that might be out of reach in MRCS. They include:

· Easy to reach guidance and support from officers in charge. SJAM has been known to be supportive to its divisions and provide information as well as offer courses consistently.

· SJAM has more contacts with suppliers and organizers and as such can pull strings easily to get public duty offers. This also makes it easier for you to get experience if you participate actively.

· You would get a chance to cooperate with other major agencies such as MAHAMAS and even St. John Ambulance societies from other countries! This provides not only a valuable experience but also looks good on your rap sheet when you graduate from school.

For those who left school already, u still can enjoy all these as there's a different unit (Ambulance Cadet) that’s open for those 16 - 65.

So I hope that you guys would support me and spread the word to all SMK BK4 people!!

Thx.

Yours Truly,

Yeong Chen Shin
